How to use it

  3. Press the save button. Download pictures one by one, or all together as a ZIP.

Good to know

  • Good (150 DPI) suits screens and email. Choose Sharp (300 DPI) for printing.
  • JPG files are smaller. PNG keeps text and line art crisp but makes bigger files.
  • Very large pages are scaled down a little so your browser does not run out of memory. The result row says when that happened.
  • Up to 200 pages can be saved at a time. Type a range such as 201-400 for the next batch.
  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.

Questions

How do I turn a PDF into JPG pictures?

Add the PDF, leave Pages empty for every page, and press the save button. Each page becomes a JPG, and you can download them one by one or as a ZIP.

How do I save just one page of a PDF as a picture?

Click that page's thumbnail, or type its number in the Pages box, then press the save button.

What detail should I choose?

Good (150 DPI) is fine for screens and email. Choose Sharp (300 DPI) for printing or when you need to zoom in. Small (72 DPI) gives the smallest files.

Why does my picture have a white background?

PDF pages are drawn on white paper. Text and drawings sit on that white, so the saved picture has it too.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The work happens inside your browser, on your own device, so your files never reach our server. The page does load ads from third parties, but they cannot see your files.

What do the DPI choices mean?

DPI is the number of pixels per inch of page. A Letter page at 150 DPI comes out about 1275 by 1650 pixels. Higher numbers give sharper but larger pictures.

Can I save only some pages?

Yes. Click the thumbnails you want or type page numbers such as 2, 4-6. Leave the box empty to save every page.

Why is my picture smaller than I asked for?

Pages that would need more than about 16 million pixels are scaled down so phones and older browsers can draw them.
