How to use it

  1. Drop your HEIC photos onto the sheet. Many at once is fine.
  2. The first time, a small decoder loads. After that, each photo takes a moment.
  3. Download single JPGs, or all of them in a ZIP.

Good to know

  • HEIC is the format iPhones use to save space. Many Windows programs, forms and websites do not accept it.
  • On an iPhone you can switch to JPG at the source under Settings, Camera, Formats, Most Compatible.
  • Live Photos convert as a single still picture. For files that contain several pictures, only the first is kept.
  • Location and camera details are left out of the new file. That is handy for sharing, but the date and place are not kept either.

Questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The work happens inside your browser, on your own device, so your files never reach our server. The page does load ads from third parties, but they cannot see your files.

Does it work offline?

Once the page has loaded, yes. Conversion itself needs no connection.

Will I notice the quality loss?

At the default 92% it is very hard to see. Choose PNG for no extra loss, at the cost of much larger files.
